Welcome to ‘Not Your AverageMusic Blog’!

I wanted to introduce the Not Your Average Music Blog and what it entails. This blog is meant to open up discussion between musicians and highlight creative talents. Here, I will write about music stuff (I know, so specific!), personal anecdotes, current research, music knowledge, highlighting creative works, musician stories, and related news.

It’s also sort of a humorous but genuine space to discuss topics related to the lifelong journey of practicing musicianship skills. I am a devoted pianist and artist. I am following my life long dream of becoming a professional pianist, music therapist, and non profit owner, despite the *cough* difficult career path. I have come across so many amazing people, learned a lot about life, and have some hilarious and heartfelt stories from my years of being a young musician in an up and coming scene.

So cheers to starting a new place to speak our minds and recognizing our local artists!
